PassagePoint Product Announcements
The new release of PassagePoint Global is build 6447. This release focused on updates required to support 64-bit on the PassagePoint client to eliminate vulnerabilities and security risks within the application. Migration tools have been developed to assist customers with this upgrade. Reach out to STOPware Tech Support to learn more or schedule an upgrade.
STOPware will stop releasing the 32-bit version of its PassagePoint Visitor Management software as of Q2 2024. This will be for both setup installers as well as update installers.

The Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo Label Printer has been replaced with the Dymo LabelWriter 550 Turbo Label Printer. Essentially the printers look the same, but there is one big difference that may affect PassagePoint users that is important to know about the new 550 version.
The New Dymo 550 has Automatic Label Recognition which lets you see the size, type and number of remaining labels at a glance. But this new printer now requires "Authentic" Dymo® labels.

STOPware plans to continue to support the PassagePoint line of products on Windows 7 for the near future, but some functionality may be impaired. We will notify you in a timely fashion as we find issues.
STOPware has instituted a travel ban effective March 16, 2020 through April 30, 2020. This ban will include not only air travel, but also all local travel for onsite meetings and professional services, such as onsite installation and training support.
Products Affected: SnapShell R2, SnapShell R3, SnapShell Passport
What does this mean for current PassagePoint customers using these products? STOPware will continue to sell these early into next year as we transition to our new line of ID scanners.
