Microsoft recently announced the end of support for Windows 7. While many third-party antivirus software providers will continue to support Windows 7 for the near future, if you are relying on Windows Essentials or Defender, they will no longer be updated. If there is a security issue with the base product, Microsoft will not fix it.
STOPware plans to continue to support the PassagePoint line of products on Windows 7 for the near future, but some functionality may be impaired. We will notify you in a timely fashion as we find issues.
We are currently encountering warnings on Windows 7 when installing some hardware device drivers. The warning says that Windows 7 cannot authenticate the driver. Although selecting Install the driver anyway is a reliable workaround, we cannot predict how much longer vendors will be testing their drivers against Windows 7.
STOPware strongly recommends that you move to Windows 10 to avoid unforeseen issues in the future.
