Overview
This release focuses on PassagePoint's healthcare integration, improving directory link management, expanding hardware compatibility, and reinforcing system performance and security. Notable updates include improved HL7 message support (including A34), greater configurability for patient discharge and visitor restrictions, integration with new hardware (Logitech StreamCam and Zebra barcode readers), and support for Windows Server 2025. Several customer-requested enhancements have also been implemented to improve usability, reporting, and automation.
HL7 / Healthcare Enhancements
Multi-Value HL7 Mapping: Support for multiple
PP_RESTRICT_KIOSK_VISITORSmappings.Scheduled Discharge: Increased auto-discharge time limit to 999 days.
Flexible HL7 Value Mapping: Map actual values to configured HL7 message values.
A34 Message Support: Added compatibility for HL7 A34 messages.
Future Appointment Deletion: Admins can now delete future outpatient appointments based on date.
Room/Bed Occupancy Display: Special visitors now visible in Room/Bed Occupants view (not counted against occupancy limits).
Directory Link Enhancements
Inactive Record Handling: Option to prevent reactivation of inactive records (setting-based).
Unique ID-Based Sync: Pull records using Unique ID for hosts and visitors (client-specific feature).
Miscellaneous Enhancements
Visitor Intellihint: Option to limit LDAP record pull (client-specific).
People Categories: Visit Duration Time can now be set up to 48 hours.
Rapid Registration: Added “VisitInfoCustom1” field to selectable columns.
Kiosk Error Handling: Invalid barcode now triggers an exception screen (no pop-up).
REST API Expansion: Support added for sending Purpose of Visit and Arrival Instructions.
Visit Deletion Control: Delete only visit records without removing the associated person record.
Hardware Support
Logitech StreamCam: Tested and validated for 1080p HD video and AI integration.
Zebra Barcode Reader: Improved COM port integration to prevent invalid barcode data from DL scans.
Watchlist Enhancements
Reporting: Watch List report now includes record creation dates.
Default Settings: “Disable Watch List Record” setting is now enabled by default.
Auditing Enhancements:
Audit log for Watch List record deletions.
Audit log for changes to “Disable Only (Do Not Delete)” settings.
Security & Performance
Socket Connection: Configurable socket connection refresh interval (in seconds).
Database Migration: Optimized migration queries for improved speed.
Installer Security: Setup/update installers now signed with a self-signed certificate (will standardize if successful).
Operating System Support: Added compatibility for Windows Server 2025.
